Asthma medication management

3rd year collaborative project, which combines physical and digital product design (UX) to create this seamless user focused system solution

Prohale is an ergonomically designed dry powder inhaler that is used in support with an app called Breath.
The inhaler and app both allow asthma suffers to take control of their asthma by staying on top of their medication. Each inhaler pack comes with two refillable cartridge that can be easily replaced by the user when and as needed.
The app gives the user the ability to input an action plan, set alarms which act as a constant reminder to keep the user on track with their medication and a visual representation of the content of the inhaler is shown through the app so users are able to see the number of doses available.
It was found that exercising is another aspect for improving a person's asthma, it is encouraged through our app for users to exercise with suggestions of what can be done in order to improve lung capacity.
